Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP)

The SWMP document lays out the program that ADOT has developed to comply with the MS4 Permit requirements.

MS4 Permit

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality issued the ADOT Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4 Permit) on June 24, 2021, with an effective date of July 1, 2021. ADEQ modifications to the permit became effective on May 13, 2022, and January 24, 2023. This permit expires on June 30, 2026.

 

Permit Annual Reports

These reports summarize components of the SWMP implemented by ADOT, data collected throughout the reporting year, annual expenditures, enforcement actions, inspections, public education programs, and water quality improvements or degradation.
