Overview
The Arizona Department of Transportation has initiated a project to improve State Route 187 located in Pinal County. This improvement project will include pavement preservation, shoulder widening, and new turn lanes.

What to Expect
The project is scheduled to begin late summer 2024 and is projected to take eight months to complete. However, Gila River Indian Community members will see ADOT and construction staff performing environmental surveys in the area prior to construction starting.
ADOT will provide advance notice of restrictions and closures once construction starts.
