
Plan for daytime lane restrictions on north- and southbound I-19 near Green Valley Sep. 3-12
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for daytime lane restrictions on north- and southbound Interstate 19 near Green Valley weekdays from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Wednesday, Sept. 3, through Friday, Sept.12, as work begins on the I-19 Canoa Ranch Rest Area sensor upgrade project.
Drivers should plan for delays, obey posted speed limits and traffic control devices and use caution while the following restrictions are in place:
- North- and southbound I-19 will be narrowed to one lane between Canoa Ranch Drive (kilometer 57) and Arivaca Road (kilometer 48).
- Law enforcement officers will be on site to direct traffic through the project area.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph.
