I-10: SR 87 to I-8 Pavement Preservation

Overview

The Arizona Department of Transportation has initiated a pavement improvement project on Interstate 10 between State Route 87 and Interstate 8 from milepost 200 to milepost 209. This project is located in Pinal County near Casa Grande.

Project Elements

• Replacing existing asphalt with new asphalt 
• Completing new pavement markings

Project Schedule

• Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2024 and is expected to take five months to complete. Schedules are subject to change because of weather and other unforeseen circumstances. 

What to Expect

Crews will work in one direction at a time, one lane at a time, with two lanes open for traffic. Crews will work overnight from 8 p.m to 5 a.m. ADOT will provide advance notice of restrictions and closures to email subscribers and on the project traffic alert web page.
