Lane restrictions scheduled on State Route 95 in Parker beginning July 24
Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions on SR 95 between Beacon Road and East Riverside Drive in Parker beginning Wednesday, July 24.
Contractors are scheduled to paint slope pavement and plant native vegetation.
The following restrictions will occur from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, through Friday, July 26, and then resume Monday, July 29, through Friday, Aug. 2.
- US 95 will be narrowed to one lane in both directions.
- A 12-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 35 mph.
ADOT reminds motorists to plan for heavy traffic, reduced speed limits and delays. The project is scheduled to be completed by fall 2019.
