State Route 72 Pavement Rehabilitation and Intersection Improvement | Bouse

The Arizona Department of Transportation is initiating two projects on State Route 72 to improve safety and other roadway conditions near Bouse.

The pavement rehabilitation project is located in La Paz County on State Route 72, starting at milepost 30 and ending at US 60 (milepost 49.91). The work consists of reconstructing the existing two-lane roadway and two bridge modifications. The work also includes completing other pavement improvements, pavement markings, signing and rumble striping.

The intersection improvement project is located on State Route 72 in the town of Bouse. The work will include improving the existing intersection of SR 72 and Joshua Drive for safety and to improve access to Bouse Elementary School.

The work consists of removal and reconstruction of existing pavement, relocation of existing cattle guard and other related work.

What to expect:

No work is scheduled at this time. ADOT will post information about lane restrictions or closures as it becomes available.
