The Arizona Department of Transportation is initiating a project to replace the Glance Creek bridge on State Route 80 between Douglas and Bisbee. The bridge is located about 14 miles west of Douglas between Oro Road and Chisholm Trail.
Drivers should expect delays through the work zone. Traffic will be restricted to a single lane in alternating directions using a temporary traffic signal.
In addition to a new concrete bridge, the project also includes new guard rail and pavement markings.
Work is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2018 last into the summer of 2019.
Vehicles should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
