Lane closures scheduled on east- and westbound US 60 in Aguila beginning Tuesday, May 7
Drivers should plan ahead for delays up to 30 minutes while roadway is reduced to one lane only
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for lane closures on east- and westbound US 60 in Aguila while a pavement-repair project is underway.
Crews are scheduled to repave the roadway from north 531 st Avenue (milepost 82) to Black Eagle Road (milepost 85) during daytime hours. Drivers could experience delays up to 30 minutes while US 60 is reduced to one lane only.
The work is scheduled to occur from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, and Wednesday, May 8.
- Flaggers and a pilot car will direct drivers through the work zone during daytime operations.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph.
- A 12-foot vehicle restriction will be in place.
Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
