Construction on the bridge includes removing and replacing the existing eastbound bridge deck and rehabilitating the west bound bridge, resurfacing roadway paving for the eastbound bridge approaches, and applying new roadway striping. This construction is anticipated to be completed late fall, 2016.

During construction, one lane for each direction of travel will be maintained at all times.

What to Expect

  • Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction
  • Access across the bridge will be permitted at all times, with loads restricted to 12’ maximum width
  • Work to be performed weekdays during daylight hours
  • Occasional night and weekend work may be required
  • Construction is anticipated to be completed late fall, 2016
  • Speeds reduced and roadway narrowed – Drive with caution
