State Route 88 Pavement Preservation Project

Project Overview

State Route 88 Pavement Preservation Project mapArizona Department of Transportation maintenance crews will be paving on State Route 88 between milepost 197 and 203, within the city of Apache Junction and Tonto National Forest land, starting Tuesday, Sept. 11, and continuing weekdays until Friday, Sept. 21. Construction will occur daily from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, and from 5 a.m. to noon on Fridays. No construction or restrictions are scheduled to be in place during weekends.

During construction, a pilot car will guide alternating lanes of traffic through the work zone. Please allow for extra time for travel as delays are anticipated, observe reduced speed limits in the work zone and use caution around crews and equipment.
