Interstate 17 Wrong-Way Detection System

Study

A recent ADOT study pointed to a societal problem that no technology can address: the role of impaired driving in wrong-way crashes. Two out of three wrong-way crashes are caused by impaired drivers. This public safety issue will not be solved by only engineering and enforcement. We all need to work to keep family, friends and strangers from driving while impaired.
