State Route 89A Shoulder widening between Coyote Springs Road and Legends Hill Road

Project Overview

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in partnership with the Federal Highway Administration, are planning for safety improvement project on State Route 89A from Coyote Springs Road to Legend Hills Drive (mileposts 324 to 333) in Prescott Valley. Work began in early April. However, ADOT terminated the project in June because of unforeseen conditions that require additional design work. This project will be re-bid when the additional design work is complete. The date for re-advertising this project has not been determined at this time.

This project includes replacing the existing asphalt with a new layer of smooth, rubberized asphalt, shoulder widening,  drainage improvements and new pavement markings.
