Passenger Rail Study: Tucson to Phoenix

Transportation Options

The Passenger Rail Corridor Study will focus on identifying and comparing a number of ideas to solve the transportation problem that exists along I-10 between Phoenix and Tucson.

New Ideas

The team is analyzing six options for the passenger rail route and is also studying how a dedicated bus system would compare with rail to meet the need for transportation options between Tucson and Phoenix.

One alternative will be to do nothing at all, one may include a solution other than rail and others may depict different corridors, routes, hubs and station locations.
