ADOT Graphic Standards 

To support the ADOT brand identity, all official ADOT communications must adhere to specific graphic and editorial guidelines. The following tools are provided to support all communication on behalf of the agency:

email signature (small version), Word, Excel, Powerpoint, web pages

The first column provides JPG files, sized small for your email signature.

All JPG files have white backgrounds. They can be scaled larger or smaller, however they lose quality if scaled more than 130-150% (larger) of their original size.


graphic design, page layout programs, offset printing

Encapsulated PostScript (eps) files are vector graphics. They can be scaled to any size without losing quality. They are not compatible with all programs. They are usually used for printing and high-end graphic design and printed pieces.


Powerpoint, web pages

PNG files have transparent backgrounds. PNG files can be used with dark backgrounds in Powerpoint, Word and Excel. Both small and large versions are provided here. Use the large version for most uses.


Word, Excel, Powerpoint

Windows Meta File (WMF) format is a microsoft-compatible format file that can be used in Word, Powerpoint, and other MS-Office programs. WMF files have transparent backgrounds and have "vector" properties, which means they can be scaled without losing resolution.
