Electronic bidding is to be used on all projects advertised by Contracts and Specifications except Design Build, and Alternative Delivery projects. ADOT uses Bid Express, a third-party vendor, as a repository for electronically submitted bids ensuring the integrity of the bids and the digital certificates.
Projects are posted on the Bid Express website and are updated as new projects are advertised. To participate in the electronic-bidding process, contractors must have an account with Bid Express. Please visit their website for cost and account information.
Two bond validation companies, Surety 2000 and SurePath Network, work with Bid Express to provide Web-based surety processing systems. Contractors can find more information about these companies and the bonding process at their websites.
