The Arizona Department of Transportation began a project in November to reconstruct the Dripping Springs Wash Bridge, which is located 13 miles north of Winkelman.
Work is being conducted on half of the bridge at a time and then will shift to the other half for completion. To conduct the work safely, a traffic signal will be used to regulate traffic across the bridge in alternating directions. Motorists will experience short delays as the signal transitions through its cycle. There will be narrowed traffic lanes, a reduced speed limit and wide-load restrictions through the work zone.
The $2 million project is scheduled for completion in July 2014.
