The Arizona Department of Transportation is currently studying a new realignment for SR 95 that would ultimately define a new route from I-40 to SR 68 between the Black Mountains to the east and the Bullhead City / Mohave Valley area to the west.
The SR 95 Realignment Study is a continuation of the efforts initiated by ADOT in 2005 when it published a feasibility study recommending a new SR 95 corridor. ADOT and its agency partners, including the Federal Highway Administration and the Bureau of Land Management, have been continuing to study the corridor following a series of public meeting in 2010.
The study is currently on hold pending resolution of funding issues. ADOT hopes to resume work on the study in the near future.
