Hearing Office Locations and Directions

These are general directions to the designated Hearing Offices. Road closures, construction and weather detours or other temporary roadway conditions may require alternate routes.

Most Hearing Offices are located in MVD-operated facilities, although other facilities are also utilized. A general description of the hearing site is found in brackets [ ].

All Hearings will begin on time, as scheduled. You must call the judge before the scheduled hearing time, if you believe that you may be late.

The judge may then delay the start of the scheduled Hearing, but in no event for more than 15 minutes.

Bullhead City Hearing Office [an MVD facility]

  • Take Highway 95 North
  • Turn Left onto Marina Boulevard
  • Turn Right onto Alonas Way, first street on right (1325 Alonas Way)
  • Take Highway 95 South
  • Turn Right onto Marina Boulevard
  • Turn Right onto Alonas Way, first street on right (1325 Alonas Way)

Casa Grande Hearing Office [an MVD facility]

From Phoenix:
  • Take Interstate 10 south to exit 185, SR387.
  • Turn right (southwest) and follow Pinal Avenue (Route 387) to Cottonwood Lane in Casa Grande.
  • Turn left (east) onto Cottonwood Lane to MVD office on the left.
  • The office is near the intersection of Pinal and Cottonwood.
From Tucson:
  • Take Interstate 10 North to exit194 (SR287).
  • Turn left (west) onto Florence Boulevard.
  • Continue to Peart Road and then turn right (north) to Cottonwood Lane.
  • Turn left (west) on Cottonwood Lane to MVD Office.
  • The office is near the intersection of Pinal and Cottonwood.

Claypool Hearing Office [an MVD facility]

  • Take eastbound Highway 60 to milepost 246.3 in Claypool.
  • The MVD office is on the south (right) side of the highway, just past the Circle K.
From Tucson:
  • From US 70 northbound, turn left (west) onto US60 at the Globe intersection.
  • MVD Office is on the left, past the Wal-Mart at Ragus Road.

  • From Phoenix
  • Take Interstate 17 heading north to Flagstaff. As you enter Flagstaff Interstate 17 turns into AZ/89A which becomes South Milton Road.
  • At the light turn left and you’re at 1851 South Milton Road.

  • Proceed through Payson on SR 87, Beeline Highway, to Malibu Road (opposite the Wal-Mart)
  • Turn right (south) into town government complex.

Hearings are held in the building at the far end of the complex on the right.

  • If Southbound on Loop 101, exit at Peoria.
  • If Northbound on Loop 101, exit at Olive.
  • Proceed west on Peoria or Olive to 99th Avenue.
  • Turn left (south) from Peoria onto 99th Avenue or turn right (north) onto 99th Avenue from Olive.

The Hearing Office is on the east side of 99th Avenue.

  • Suite 160 is located to the rear of the main corridor.

  • Take Interstate 17 to I-69 (Cordes Junction).
  • Proceed on I-69 into Prescott, merging right onto Hwy 89 North after passing Buckey's Casino.
  • Proceed North on Hwy 89 to Willow Lake Road (at Watson Lake Park)
  • Turn left onto Willow Lake Road and proceed to Willow Creek Road.
  • Turn right onto Willow Creek Road to Commerce Drive, left onto Commerce to the MVD entrance, a 4-way stop at the top of the hill.

  • Enter the campus from the Deuce of Clubs across the street from the Show Low City Park to reach Goldwater Building
  • After entering the parking/drive area of the campus, follow the road past the Cosmetology Building and you will see the Goldwater Building on your right

From Tucson:
  • Proceed east on Interstate 10 approximately 43 miles to Exit 302.
  • Turn right (south) on Hwy 90 toward Sierra Vista.
  • Between Huachuca City and Sierra Vista, Hwy 90 intersects Buffalo Soldier Trail.
  • Turn left (east) at the traffic light and stay on highway 90.
  • Highway 90 bears right (south) and intersects with Charleston Road.
  • Turn left (east) onto Charleston Road and proceed to the Hearing Office.
  • Hearings are conducted in the trailer on the west side of the MVD parking lot.
  • (A Wal-Mart is located at the northeast corner of Charleston Road and Hwy 90)

  • Take Highway 70 westbound from Safford (Intersection of Hwy 191 & 70)
  • Proceed approximately 5 miles to Thatcher
  • At College Ave, turn left
  • Gherald L. Hoopes Jr. Center is the first building on the right (Corner of Hwy 70 & College Ave)
  • Use the North East entrance (Door closest to Hwy 70 & Safford)
  • The hearing room (Conference Room 119) is the 1st room on the left as you enter the building
  • Please be seated in the hallway waiting area.
From West
  • Take Highway 70 eastbound to Thatcher
  • At College Ave, turn right
  • Gherald L. Hoopes Jr. Center is the first building on the right (Corner of Hwy 70 & College Ave)
  • Use the North East entrance (Door closest to Hwy 70 & Safford)
  • The hearing room (Conference Room 119) is the 1st room on the left as you enter the building
  • Please be seated in the hallway waiting area.

  • Turn right (west) on Broadmont to the Motor Vehicle Division Regional Office.
  • Hearings are conducted on the second floor and access to that area is restricted.
  • Check with the receptionist when you arrive.
From West
  • Take Ajo east.
  • Before Palo Verde, turn left (north) on Broadmont and continue to the Motor Vehicle Division Regional Office.
  • Hearings are conducted on the second floor and access to that area is restricted.
  • Check with the receptionist when you arrive.
