Kingman Area Transportation Study

Project Summary:

The study area for the Kingman Area Transportation Study Update encompasses all of the City of Kingman plus portions of Mohave County.  The principal purpose is to update the 2005 Kingman Area Transportation Study and expand the study area from 59 square miles to 165 square miles.  The study will result in a plan of improvements for 5 (short-range), 10 (mid-range), and 20 year (long range) transportation planning horizons.  The recommendations will be multi-modal, considering roadways, non-motorized transportation modes (bicycles and pedestrians), and transit components.

The Kingman Area Transportation Planning Study will be conducted according to a cooperative planning process involving stakeholders that include public agency staff, elected officials, and the public. Throughout the study, information will be presented to and solicited from stakeholders through individual interviews, focus group meetings, public meetings, and other means of communication.
