Bullhead City Transportation Study

Project Summary:

The purpose of the study is to prepare a transportation master plan for the community that will evaluate the existing transportation system and determine current needs, develop accurate projections for future transportation system requirements and identify improvements, policies, and options that will increase the safety, functionality, and cost-effectiveness of the existing transportation system. The major product of the study will be a final report which contains a plan for improvements over five- and ten-year periods, and a long-range transportation plan incorporating both roadway and transit elements.

The Bullhead City Transportation Planning Study will be conducted according to a cooperative planning process involving stakeholders that include public agency staff, elected officials, and the public.  Throughout the study, information will be presented to and solicited from stakeholders through individual interviews, focus group meetings, public meetings, and other means of communication.
