City of Benson In July 2010, the City of Benson assumed operation of transit services in the greater Benson area to the elderly and disabled Monday to Friday, 8 am to 3:30 pm. One vehicle provides 7,600 rides annually. The service, previously operated by Catholic Community Services under a FTA Section 5310 grant, will transition to FTA Section 5311 in October 2-010. It is anticipated that a second vehicle, operating on a deviated fixed route, will be in service in early 2011. At that time, service will be open to the general public.
