Information Technology Audit

Vision/Mission : To provide ADOT management with high quality, value-added Information Technology (IT) assurance and consulting services.

  We assess and provide recommendations for improving the methods and control practices employed in the software engineering process.

  We evaluate emerging technologies and evolving architectures to ensure their operational readiness and adequacy of related security safeguards and controls.

• IT Contracting
  We evaluate contract terms and specifications to ensure adequate definition of contractor and product / service performance requirements.

• Policies and Procedures
  We review and critique IT policies, standards and procedures for completeness and acceptability in various technology areas.

• Special reviews and assessments (based on the needs of the requesting unit)

• We also provide support to ADOT’s operational auditors and assist external auditors on IT-related matters for the agency.
