ITD Technical Training Program

The ITD Technical Training (ITD Tech) Program exists to help Intermodal Transportation Division (ITD) employees use existing resources more efficiently, enhance productivity by providing ITD personnel with skills and knowledge needed to do their job more efficiently and economically and to cope with transportation problems by increasing their expertise through technical training.

ITD Tech assists employees within ITD by providing funding for development and delivery technical training (scheduled and on-demand, internal and external), funding for certification, and safety and technical training materials to groups and districts through regional trainers.

This program is an on-demand program: the entire training schedule is developed based on identified need and training requests through training specialist (representing all districts and groups) throughout the division.

   is to be recognized as a premier resource in meeting the evolving educational and training needs of the Intermodal Transportation Division.

The Mission of the ITD Technical Training Program,
     ITD Tech, is to assist ADOT in meeting our mission to provide products and services for a safe, efficient, cost effective transportation system by improving skills and knowledge of ITD employees through technical training.
