Leica HDS 3000 Laser Scanner

Description

The ADOT Survey section utilizes the Leica HDS 3000 Laser Scanner to produce highly accurate three-dimensional point clouds of roadway surfaces and other as-built features as requested.

Specifications

The Leica HDS 3000 is capable of collecting more than 100,000 points per hour with an effective range of 164' and a positional accuracy of 0.02'. The laser can rotate 360 degrees horizontally and 270 degrees vertically allowing the user to scan virtually any type of surface from any angle. Using Leica's Cyclone 5.X post-processing software the point clouds can be edited and converted into several popular CADD file formats for delivery.
