The Statewide Acquisition Section is responsible for acquiring property rights
needed for construction and improvement of state highways throughout Arizona
(except the Phoenix and Tucson metropolitan areas that are the responsibility
of the Urban Acquisition Section). This
Section also provides relocation assistance to eligible individuals and
businesses displaced as a result of the State’s acquisition. In addition to
the headquarters office located in Phoenix, there are field offices located
in Flagstaff, Kingman and Yuma.
