Study Overview:
The Arizona Department of Transportation is currently studying a new realignment for State Route 95 that would ultimately define a new route from Interstate 40 to State Route 68 between the Black Mountains to the east and the Bullhead City/Mohave Valley area to the west.
The SR 95 Realignment Study is a continuation of the efforts initiated by ADOT in 2005 when it published a Feasibility Study recommending a new SR 95 corridor. ADOT and its agency partners including the Federal Highway Administration and the Bureau of Land Management have been continuing to study the corridor following a series of public meeting in 2010.
Project Timeline:
Currently, the study is on hold pending resolution of funding issues. ADOT hopes to resume work on the study in the near future.
