Crews are scheduled to continue work on concrete removal and replacement as part of the first phase of the State Route 287 repaving project in Casa Grande. As crews replace pavement along driveways, they will be opened to provide access and motorists may notice a slight bump along those driveways. This is only temporary, additional work will be done on the driveways in the coming weeks to complete them.
In addition to the concrete removal and replacement, work will begin on new valley gutters at the intersection of Florence Boulevard and Pueblo Drive. Drivers should be aware of the following restrictions:
- South side of Pueblo Drive closed at State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) on Monday (Aug. 6) for valley gutter work. DETOUR: Northbound Pueblo Drive motorists will take Love Street west to Amarillo Street north to Florence Boulevard for access to Pueblo Drive. Southbound Pueblo Drive motorists will take Florence Boulevard west to Amarillo Street south to Love Street for access to Pueblo Drive.
- Eastbound State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) narrowed to one lane between State Route 387 (Pinal Avenue) and Peart Road from 9 p.m. to 10 a.m. nightly beginning on Monday (Aug. 6) through Thursday (Aug. 10).
- Westbound State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) narrowed to one lane between Peart Road and State Route 387 (Pinal Avenue) from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly beginning on Monday (Aug. 6) through Thursday (Aug. 10).
