Community invited to attend Binational San Luis Transportation Study public meeting Tuesday next week

The Arizona Department of Transportation, the city of San Luis and the Municipal de San Luis Rio Colorado in Sonora, Mexico invite the community to attend a public meeting to learn about the Binational San Luis Transportation Study.

The primary purpose of this study is to prepare a long-range multimodal transportation plan that will address the most critical current and future transportation issues for the cities of San Luis, Arizona and San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico.

Study recommendations will guide the project team as it is planning improvements to vehicle, pedestrian, bicycle and public transit facilities and services for 5, 10 and 20-year time periods.

San Luis residents are invited to attend a public open house to learn more about the study and provide input to the study team:

Time:              5:30 to 7:30 p.m. (presentation 6 p.m.)
Location:         San Luis City Hall
