Summer Maintenance Aide Program
 |
The Summer Maintenance Aide Program gives high school students the opportunity to gain work experience with the Arizona Department of Transportation, and develop a better understanding of occupations available to them in Civil Engineering and highway construction. Students work side-by-side with ADOT personnel, performing maintenance duties on the state highway system. Work will be performed outdoors, resulting in exposure to various weather conditions. This is a statewide program and assignments will be made throughout Arizona. |
Application Requirements:
This program is open to any high school student who is a minimum of 16 years old and has a valid Arizona driver license. Interviews are conducted in April or May of each year. Students interested in applying must send a copy of their resume and current high school transcript to the District office in the area they wish to work. |
