Encroachment Permits

An Encroachment Permit allows the Permittee to place and keep an object in the highway right of way.  These permits are valid in perpetuity or until the object is removed from the right of way.

To place an Encroachment in Arizona Department of Transportation right of way the Permittee must submit an application form along with a variety of supporting documentation depending on the type of encroachment.
