Permits Flow Procedures - Review

Many activities need to occur in this grouping. They do not necessarily have an exact order as designated by the dashed box around them. Review Plans includes checking the   scope of work, verifying location, comparing to as-builts or design plans, checking conformance with ADOT Standard Drawings and Specs, right-of-way , etc. Review supporting documentation for accuracy and appropriateness.Review comments of personnel on routing.  Make sure the reviewers are satisfied with the proposal. Perform Site inspection as needed, applicable, or practical.  A reviewer may see a need for more documentation. A request further submittal(s) may be needed. It is the responsibility of the requestor to remedy any deficiency.  If the request is denied, close the file. Closing a file may include written notification of request status,  a deficiency list, and or remedies.
