The proposed pavement rehabilitation and shoulder widening work is located in Mohave County on SR 389 and US 89A in Fredonia and in Coconino County, on US 89A. The project on SR 389 begins at MP 27.0 and ends at MP 32.59, and on US 89A begins at MP 609.18 and ends at MP 613.03. The work includes milling and replacing asphaltic concrete and shoulder widening. The work also includes application of fog coat/double application seal coat, shoulder build-up, adding shoulder and centerline ground-in rumble strips, guardrail, pavement markings, and other related work.
