SYSTEM ENHANCEMENT-SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS

**The proposed project is located in Maricopa County and a portion in Pinal County. A portion of this project is located on the Gila River, Salt River Pima-Maricopa and Fort McDowell Yavapai Indian Communities. The work consists primarily of removing and disposing of existing pedestrian signal modules from their housing, and supplying and installing new countdown pedestrian modules. Additional work will include removing and replacing pedestrian crossing signs and removing and replacing pedestrian push button assemblies on existing poles.
