ADOT STANDARD LINE STYLES These apply to the following linestyles: They are: 1. hps_e.rsc 2. adot_e.rsc 3. rw_e.rsc 4. traf_e.rsc These resource files have the same name as the current ADOT standard cel libraries, with the addition of an "_e" to the name to identify them as english line styles. All of the line styles within each Line Style Resource file have the same name as the cells that are used for patterning linear elements. However an "_e" has also being added to identify them as english line styles. For example, if you are looking for the line style for an existing chain link fence, you could refer to the index in the ADOT standards or on this web site, and see that the cel name is XLCLWL and is in the adot.cel library. The corresponding line style would be xlclwl_e, which is in the adot_e.rsc resource file. One note of caution, when using these line styles be aware that before placing them, you will still have to set the correct level, color and line weight as shown in the ADOT standards. These resource files need to be placed in the directory containing the symbology resource files. At ADOT this is under the Microstation directory in \wsmod\default\symb. Your installation may vary. You will also need to insure that your plotting software can find them so that they will be plotted correctly. Revised ~ 03/11/2003
