No Passing Zone (NPZ) Team

The No Passing Zone (NPZ) Team reviews, establishes or recommends pavement markings and signing related to the state highways vertical and horizontal alignment. Led by Scott Nodes , these teams perform the following tasks:

• Maintains sight distances in, establishes, and re-evaluates no passing zone conditions on state highways

• "Ball Banking" for the determination of advisory speed limits for horizontal alignments (curves) on state highways
