These Web pages will assist the sponsors with project implementation.
It includes guidance to help the sponsor and their staff and/or
consultants prepare adequate and accurate documents. Additional

Sponsors must work with ADOT to ensure that the project meets
requirements for environmental documentation, acquiring right
of way, procurement and various permits, agreements and clearances.
ADOT and sponsors must work together to solicit bids and award
contracts for consultants and construction. Exactly who does
what varies from sponsor to sponsor.
The sponsor is urged not to delay the environmental investigation,
which includes acquiring all necessary biological, cultural
and hazmat clearances.
Preliminary Work
This phase involves getting familiar with the various implementation steps of your Transportation Enhancement (TE) project, and covers activities prior to the beginning of final design.
