Attendance

Attendance to this meeting is required for all successful project sponsors unless the sponsoring agency assign project management and development to individuals experienced in the federal-aid and ADOT Project Development Process. Those in attendance should be project managers and individuals who would be directly involved in day-to-day decisions on the project.

 

Before the Meeting

Prior to the meeting, project sponsors are asked to contact their Metropolitan Planning Organization / Council of Government representative and request inclusion of their State or Local project into the Transportation Improvement Plan.

 

After the Meeting

Following the meeting, and once the local agency's design and environmental consultant is on board for project scoping, the ADOT Transportation Enhancement Project Manager should be contacted about setting up the initial project kick-off meeting. In order to meet the three-year development process, this meeting should be held in the spring. The ADOT Project Manager will lead the team through the project development process and will be there for you each step of the way.
