Attendance
Attendance to this meeting is required for
all successful project sponsors unless the sponsoring agency
assign project management and development to individuals experienced
in the federal-aid and ADOT Project Development Process. Those
in attendance should be project managers and individuals who
would be directly involved in day-to-day decisions on the project.
Before the Meeting
Prior to the meeting, project sponsors are asked to contact
their Metropolitan Planning Organization / Council of Government
representative and request inclusion of their State or Local
project into the Transportation Improvement Plan.
After the Meeting
Following the meeting, and once the local agency's design and
environmental consultant is on board for project scoping, the
ADOT Transportation Enhancement Project Manager should be contacted
about setting up the initial project kick-off meeting. In order
to meet the three-year development process, this meeting should
be held in the spring. The ADOT Project Manager will lead the
team through the project development process and will be there
for you each step of the way.
