Colorado Trail - Madison Avenue Pathway
and Historic Bridge

The Yuma Crossing Pathway is located in downtown Yuma, featuring a pedestrian travel-way as well as a bike path which connects the pathway system along the Colorado River. The project starts at Madison Avenue, at the roundabout, and ends at the Colorado Trail. The Colorado Trail runs along the River and connects Gateway Park, Yuma West Wetlands, and Joe Henry Park. The Colorado Trail also connects to the East Main Canal pathway at 10th Avenue, running south to 21st Street. |

• Directions: The pathway can be accessed from the Yuma Crossing State Historic Park on the east side of 4th Avenue, just south of the Colorado River; and at the north end of Madison Avenue at the roundabout.

• Construct 1,850 feet of 10-foot wide pavement with shoulders
• Construct retaining walls near the entrance to the Yuma Crossing State Historic Park
