State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) improvement project continues next week

Florence Boulevard narrowed overnight throughout the work zone

August 24, 2012

Crews will continue working on phase one of the improvement project on State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) next week, including concrete removal and replacement. As a reminder, driveways will re-open for access once crews replace the pavement. Please note that motorists may notice a slight bump when using the newly paved driveway. This bump is only temporary as additional work will be done in the coming weeks to complete them. While work is underway drivers should be aware of the following restrictions:

  • Eastbound State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) narrowed to one lane between State Route 387 (Pinal Avenue) and Interstate 10 from 9 p.m. to 10 a.m. nightly beginning on Monday (Aug. 27) through Thursday (Aug. 30).
  • Westbound State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) narrowed to one lane between Interstate 10 and State Route 387 (Pinal Avenue) from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly beginning on Monday (Aug. 27) through Thursday (Aug. 30).
