While removing the existing gutter at the intersection of Pueblo Driver and Florence Boulevard crews uncovered several unexpected utility related issues that will need to be addressed and repaired prior to the new gutter being installed. Instead of being completed overnight, the repairs and installation of new gutter will take at least the rest of this week to be completed. As a result, drivers should be aware of the following restrictions:
- South side of Pueblo Drive closed at State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) through Friday (August 10) for utility repair and valley gutter work. DETOUR: Northbound Pueblo Drive motorists will take Love Street west to Amarillo Street north to Florence Boulevard for access to Pueblo Drive. Southbound Pueblo Drive motorists will take Florence Boulevard west to Amarillo Street south to Love Street for access to Pueblo Drive.
- Eastbound State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) narrowed to one lane between State Route 387 (Pinal Avenue) and Peart Road from 9 p.m. to 10 a.m. nightly beginning on Monday (August 6) through Thursday (August 10).
- Westbound State Route 287 (Florence Boulevard) narrowed to one lane between Peart Road and State Route 387 (Pinal Avenue) from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly beginning on Monday (August 6) through Thursday (August 10).
