I-10 eastbound on-ramp at McCartney Road in Casa Grande to close until December
February 6, 2012
The Arizona Department of Transportation will close the eastbound Interstate 10 exit ramp at McCartney Road (Exit 190) from 7 p.m. Monday (Feb. 6) to 6 a.m. Tuesday (Feb. 7) as crews continue construction on the I-10 widening project between Val Vista Road and Earley Road.
The following detours will be available during ramp improvements:
Motorists traveling on eastbound I-10 who want to exit at McCartney Road will be directed to use the exit prior to McCartney Road at SR 387/Pinal Avenue interchange (exit 185), then travel south on SR 387 to access McCartney Road.
What to expect during the closures:
- I-10 eastbound and westbound lanes will remain open during the ramp closure
- Signage will direct motorists through the detour
The construction schedule is subject to change due to a variety of reasons, including weather, material availability and mechanical difficulties. ADOT advises drivers to proceed through or near work zones with caution, slow down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
