on Title VI and Environmental Justice
This report will assist practitioners in documenting whether highway
improvement projects would have a disproportionate high and adverse
effects on minority and low-income populations. This guidance
is to be used for Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact
Statements, and for projects requiring a significant amount of
new right of way.
- Guidelines for Environmental
Justice Analysis
The guideline may be used for all statewide projects to ensure that Title VI of the Civil Rights Act and the Executive Order 12898 "Federal Actions to Address Environmental Justice in Minortiy Populations and Low-Income Populations" are adequately considered in the environmental planning process.
