Wings to Fly

"What are we doing here? We're reaching for the stars." ~ Christa McAuliffe

Thank you for making our 2008 program a success! We look forward to seeing you in 2009.

Wings to Fly is focused on encouraging young women ages 11-19 to pursue careers in aviation and aerospace.  The program is designed to allow these young women to think outside the box of the typical flying career in aviation and aerospace.  There are numerous fields that encompass both aviation and aerospace which this series of seminars will allow the attendees to explore.

Women now hold only 18% of non-pilot careers in aviation. The field is wide open! Learn how to get into the exciting and expanding aviation/aerospace career arena!

This seminar brings together the young women who are the future of aviation and aerospace with the women who pave the way for their future success.  This is an excellent networking opportunity for everyone.

Various aviation organizations will also be in attendance with information booths to allow the young women to explore aviation and aerospace careers even more.  This will allow the attendees to understand and appreciate the impact that aviation and aerospace have not only on Arizona economy, but the national economic impact as well.

This year, we have two (2) $500 scholarships that Credit Union West will hold a drawing for at the end of the day. Winners must be present.
