Frank joined ADOT in October 2000 and was appointed Director of the Arizona Transportation Research Center on December 3, 2001. He also coordinates the ADOT product evaluation (PRIDE) program.
In addition to his work in transportation, Mr. Darmiento has worked extensively as a private consultant, including operation of his own environmental consulting business for about 10 years. He has significant agency experience also, including 16 years in engineering management with Salt River Project. Additionally, he has consulted for the Western Area Power Administration and has worked for the Naval Ship Systems Command in Washington, D.C. He served as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in Bolivia. |
