Hopi Tribe - Hopi Senom Transit

The Hopi Senom Transit System was developed to provide the Hopi reservation and surrounding areas, including Flagstaff, with affordable, accessible, and reliable rural transportation to the Hopi people and general public.

The Hopi Senom Transit Routes:

Route 1 - Keams Canyon to Kykotsmovi

This route is approximately 83 miles one way with 15 transit stops within the Villages of First Mesa, Second Mesa and Third Mesa's before arriving at the Tribal headquarters. Eastbound and Westbound transit services are provided twice a day.

Route 2 - Tuba City to Kykotsmovi

This route is approximately 65 miles one with 11 transit stops within the Villages of Upper/Lower Moencopi, Bacavi, Hotevilla, Old Oraibi and Kykotsmovi before arriving at the Tribal Headquarters. Eastbound and Westbound transit services are provided twice a day.

Route 3 - Flagstaff to Kykotsmovi

Route 3 transports the general public and employees on a 95 mile route with 3 stops at Flagstaff, Leupp and Tolani Lake junction. Transit services are provided twice a day both to/from Flagstaff.

Route 4 - Winslow to Kykotsmovi

Route 4 transports the general public and employees on an 85 mile route with stops at Winslow, Dilcon Jct. and Second Mesa Junction. This route comes inbound once a day and departs at 5:00 p.m. to Winslow.

The Hopi Senom Transit currently operates from 6:00 a.m. to 6:50 p.m., Monday through Friday. Riders can purchase a 10-ride transit ticket either from the driver or at the Office of Treasurer located at the Tribal Headquarters at Kykotsmovi. An 11th ride free is included with the 10-ride ticket. All tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Seniors and students discounts are $0.50 off the regular fare rate for any route.
