San Carlos Apache Transit The San Carlos Apache Tribe established a Transportation Department in 2007 in response to mobility needs for individuals living within the San Carlos Apache Tribe reservation. Transit services are provided on the reservation, near reservation and it is anticipated that the transit system will be expanding to further locations. The target population has consistently been customers who are low income, disabled, and elderly, as well as, individuals without readily available transportation. Services are operated as fixed route; however, demand response and deviated/flex route operations are available. Individuals, including those needing ADA Paratransit services and those needing door-to-door services, contact the Nnee Bich’o Nii Transit offices for planning and scheduling transit services.
