Current and upcoming Loop 101 closures and restrictions
Northbound Loop 101 closed between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road Oct. 31-Nov. 3
Bell Road closures Oct. 27-31; Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard closures Nov. 3-7; southbound Loop 101 closed Nov. 7-10
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closures as part of the Loop 101 widening project in north Scottsdale:
NORTHBOUND LOOP 101 CLOSURE
- Northbound Loop 101 between Shea Boulevard and Princess Drive/Pima Road will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, to 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3. The northbound Loop 101 on-ramps at 90th Street and Via De Ventura also will be closed.
- Detour: Drivers may consider using westbound Shea Boulevard to northbound Scottsdale Road to access Loop 101 beyond the closure.
BELL ROAD CLOSURE
- East- and westbound Bell Road at Loop 101 will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, Oct. 27, and ending Friday morning Oct. 31.
- Eastbound detour: Drivers may consider using the southbound frontage road to eastbound Frank Lloyd Wright to the northbound frontage road to Bell Road.
- Westbound detour: Drivers may consider using the northbound frontage road to westbound Pima Road to the southbound frontage road to Bell Road.
FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT BOULEVARD CLOSURE
- East- and westbound Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard at Loop 101 will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, Nov. 3, and ending Friday morning, Nov. 7.
- Eastbound detour: Drivers may use the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to eastbound Raintree Drive to the northbound Loop 101 frontage road to access Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard east of the closure.
- Westbound detour: Drivers may use the northbound Loop 101 frontage road to westbound Bell Road to the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to access Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard west of the closure.
SOUTHBOUND LOOP 101 CLOSURE
- Southbound Loop 101 between Princess Drive/Pima Road and Shea Boulevard will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, to 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10. The southbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Scottsdale and Hayden roads also will be closed.
Current and upcoming long-term ramp closures
Southbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Raintree Drive closed for approximately 60 days beginning Sept. 2
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following long-term (approximately 60-day) ramp closure for reconstruction as part of the current Loop 101 widening project:
- The southbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Raintree Drive will be closed for approximately 60 days beginning 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2.
DETOUR: Drivers may consider using the southbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and using the southbound Loop 101 frontage road to Raintree Drive.
