SYSTEM ENHANCEMENT-SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS

**The proposed wildlife fencing project is located in Gila County on SR 260, approximately 16 miles east of Payson, in two separate areas. The first work area commences at the east end of the Tonto Creek bridges, and proceeds to the interface between the Kohls Ranch and Doubtful Canyon sections of SR 260, from approximately MP 268.5 to MP 269.0. The second work area commences near the interface between the Doubtful Canyon and Christopher Creek sections of SR 260, and runs to just east of the Colcord Yard at Colcord Road, from approximately MP 271.2 to MP 277.1. The proposed work includes removing existing barbed wire and wildlife fence, installing new 8-foot wildlife fence, new 8-foot tall gates, wildlife escape ramps and slope jumps, and other related work.
