County, City and Muni Government

Description

County, City and Muni government throughout the State of Arizona are responsible for the county's traffic operations, fire, law enforcement, Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), maintenance operations, website, tourism, convention and visitor's bureau. There are many local cities, towns and municipalities throughout the State of Arizona whose traffic management functions and infrastructure are not specifically called out in the Statewide ITS Architecture but whom have signal systems. This stakeholder represents their interests for existing and future project planning. Any city, county, township or Muni that has a specific ITS project may use ITS elements unclassified (i.e., County, City and Muni Government) as the foundation for an ITS Project Architecture, consistent with the statewide ITS architecture.
