Welcome to the Valley Transportation Program!  The Valley Transportation Program comes under the direction of the Intermodal Transportation Division.   The Valley Transportation Program provides for the coordination of the pre-construction, construction, and maintenance functions for the urban highway systems in Maricopa County with the assistance of the general consultant.  These functions are carried out by the following groups:
Phoenix Construction District is responsible for the administration of construction projects in the Phoenix urban area. Phoenix Maintenance District maintains all roadways in Maricopa County conforming to the highest possible level of professionalism and standards of maintenance. Regional Freeway System office provides life cycle management for the funding and programming of the Regional Freeway System. Urban Project Management is responsible for the completion of project tasks necessary to develop construction for urban freeway and state routes within the Phoenix area.
